THE DILIGENT WATCH OF THE FAITHFUL SERVANTS

In a world filled with the uncertainties of meretricious distractions, faithful servants of the Most High God are called to watch with utmost diligence. This imperative call to vigilance is well spelt in the words of Jesus Christ during his earthly ministry. We can very well find them littered across the pages of the King James Version of the Holy Bible which carefully reminds us of the necessity to remain spiritually alive and focused on the Heavenly race. 1 Peter 5:8, warns believers, "Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil, as a roaring lion, walketh about, seeking whom he may devour." This is a wake up call that drives home the urgency of remaining prayerful while preparing to be raptured with the Saints to Heaven. A diligent study of God's word at all times is the exact translation of watchfulness. It enables the believer to recognize and discern the Spirit of God equipping directives which coats the believer with the requisite demeanour for victory ...

AVOID FRAUDULENT GAINS

The Holy Bible warns against gaining wealth through fraudulent and deceitful means, and instead emphasizes the importance of honest labour and integrity in all our dealings. Proverbs 21:6 states, "The getting of treasures by a lying tongue is a vanity tossed to and fro of them that seek death." This illustration here is one that amplifies the warning about the fleeting nature of wealth gained through dishonesty and how it ultimately leads to destruction. It is a reminder that ill-gotten gains are futile and will not bring lasting fulfillment.  The book of Proverbs also cautions us against the pursuit of wealth at the expense of our souls and the moral principles of Christ's teachings opens our eyes to these facts. Proverbs 16:8 advises, "Better is a little with righteousness than great revenues without right."
