THE GUARANTEE OF REWARD FOR PROFITABLE SERVICE

In the vast expanse of the universe, there lies unique blessings for all living beings that serve and glorify their Creator. This is hinged on the fundamental principles of sowing and reaping which if righteously applied will lead to the fulfillment of the profitable promise of God. This promise is emphasized throughout the Scriptures as a source of encouragement and motivation for believers to persevere in their obedience and service to the Almighty and Sovereign God.

One of the key verses that speaks to this promise is found in Hebrews 6:10, which states, "For God is not unrighteous to forget your work and labour of love, which ye have shewed toward his name, in that ye have ministered to the saints, and do minister." In this verse, we are assured that every effort of born again Christians will be rewarded by a just and righteous God who sees and rewards their faithful service to Him. We are to remember that no act of service done for the glory of God will go unnoticed or unrewarded.

Forthwith, another passage that highlights the guarantee of reward for profitable service to God is found in 1 Corinthians 15:58, which says, "Therefore, my beloved brethren, be ye stedfast, unmovable, always abounding in the work of the Lord, forasmuch as ye know that your labour is not in vain in the Lord." This verse encourages God's people to remain relentlessly steadfast and diligent in their service to the Righteous Father, knowing that every effort channeled towards His glorification will be rewarded in due time. It should serve as a source of motivation for believers to continue in their service, even in the face of adversity and challenges.

In Matthew 25:21, Jesus Christ Himself speaks about the rewards that await those who faithfully serve God, saying, "Well done, thou good and faithful servant: thou hast been faithful over a few things, I will make thee ruler over many things: enter thou into the Joy of thy Lord." This verse underscores the importance of faithfulness and diligence in serving God, as it is through these qualities that servants of God who are not belligerent to his service will receive their rewards in the Kingdom of God.

The guarantee of reward for profitable service to God is further emphasized in Colossians 3:23-24, which states, "And whatsoever ye do, do it heartily, as to the Lord, and not unto men; Knowing that of the Lord ye shall receive the reward of the inheritance: for ye serve the Lord Christ." Here believers are reminded that our service to God should be done wholeheartedly and with sincerity, as it is ultimately God who will reward us for our efforts. It serves as a powerful motivation for believers to serve God excellently with enthusiasm and dedication, knowing that our rewards are guaranteed in the Kingdom of Heaven.

In conclusion, the guarantee of reward for profitable service to God is foundationally hinged on the principle of sowing and reaping in the Christian faith. As believers, we are assured throughout the Scriptures that our faithful service to God will not go unnoticed or unrewarded. As we continue to serve God diligently and wholeheartedly, we can take comfort in the knowledge that our efforts will be rewarded in the Kingdom of God. May this promise of God's reward serve as a source of encouragement and motivation to us all as we continue in faithful service to the Almighty God, in Jesus Name, Amen.

DO NOT DEPAIR

Having found out whom God is... DO NOT DESPAIR TEXT: PSALM 13:1-6 Key verse: “How long wilt thou forget me, O LORD? for ever? how long wilt thou hide thy face from me?” (Psalm 13:1) . Life throws up new challenges every day. This often makes the believer begin to think that God had abandoned him. Except he rouses himself up, he would become discouraged and lose all hope that help would ever come to him. David got to that point many times in his numerous battles in life. He probably prayed and fasted for long periods, but the onslaught of the enemy did not end. He was running out of options, hence he spoke in desperation to God. He seemed to conclude that He had forsaken him and wondered how long God would hide himself, and how long he was going to be abandoned to himself, getting ever more sorrowful daily. He was troubled that the enemy seemed to be triumphing over him; ...

NO SHORTCUT

If it is to be done aright, be rest assured that there is... NO SHORTCUT BELIEVERS' DIGEST PUBLICATION Bible Reading: 1 KINGS 15:16-24 Key Verse: “There is a league between me and thee, and between my father and thy father: behold, I have sent unto thee a present of silver and gold; come and break thy league with Baasha king of Israel, that he may depart from me” (1 Kings 15:19). Men always seek shortcut to success in life. Rather than live by God’s righteous standard, they seek to achieve success by any means possible. They justify their action by arguing that the end does indeed justify the means. This is despite their moral failings and character flaws, all of which contravene God’s expectations from His children. Such was the beginning of the end for King Asa, who had begun well to rule Judah and had introduced gr...

A GEM OF SPECTACULAR INFLUENCE

WINNERS' INTEREST PUBLICATION A GEM OF SPECTACULAR INFLUENCE Bible Reading: 1 Samuel 3:19-21 (KJV) Key Verse: “And Samuel grew, and the LORD was with him, and did let none of his words fall to the ground” (1 Samuel 3:19). The world, in which we live today is filled with corrupting influences. This forms the basis of God's call to His people to rise as rare treasures of purity and power. A “Gem of Spectacular Influence” is not an ordinary person. It describes a believer whose life carries unique, enduring value that transcends fleeting worldly trends. Like a precious gem that retains its brilliance even in darkness, such a life reflects resolute determination to pursue excellence in glorifying God, undimmed by surrounding negativity. The story of Samuel powerfully illustrates this truth. Raised in the tabernacle at Shiloh under the aged priest Eli, Samuel was surrounded by evil practices. Eli’s sons, Hophni and Phinehas, were notorious for ...
