THE SACREDNESS AND BLESSEDNESS OF ABIDING IN THE SECRET PLACE

In the hustle and bustle of our daily lives, it is easy to feel overwhelmed, anxious, and spiritually drained. While we search for solace and Peace, we may sometimes find ourselves longing for something more. The ancient Scriptures, "He that dwelleth in the secret place of the Most High shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty." found in Psalms 91:1, provides us with insight into the profound truth that exfoliates spiritual dryness by revealing the sacredness and blessedness of abiding in the secret place of the Most High God. It is in dwelling with God in the secret place that we find protection, provision, and intimacy with our Creator.

The secret place does not necessarily need to be a physical location but an intimate connection with God Himself. It is a spiritual haven, a refuge where we can pour out our hearts and find solace in His divine presence. In Matthew 6:6, Jesus Himself implores us, saying, "But thou, when thou prayest, enter into thy closet, and when thou hast shut thy door, pray to thy Father which is in secret; and thy Father which seeth in secret shall reward thee openly." When we shut out the distractions of the world and enter into this secret place, we are positioning ourselves to receive the abundant blessings which our Heavenly Father has in store for us.

Psalm 27:5 further reaffirms the sacred nature of abiding in the secret place of God by stating that "For in the time of trouble, he shall hide me in his pavilion: in the secret of his tabernacle shall he hide me; he shall set me up upon a rock." When we find ourselves in times of trouble, uncertainty, or distress, the secret place becomes a sheltering refuge where we can find God's Peace and rest. It is within God's tabernacle that we are shielded from the storms of life while being firmly stationed upon this ever faithful Solid Rock.

Abiding in the secret place of the Most High does not only provide for us protection and solace. It also grants us access to an uncommon wisdom and divine guidance. Proverbs 3:32 emphasizes this powerful truth, "For the froward is abomination to the LORD: but His secret is with the righteous." As individuals who continually seek to abide in the secret place of the Most High, we gain access to the hidden mysteries and insights of our Heavenly Father. His secrets, knowledge, and counsel become available to us, leading us on the paths of righteousness to actualise the purpose for our existence.

Furthermore, the secret place is an abode where we encounter the holy presence of God while being transformed and renewed by His divine image. In 2 Corinthians 3:18, the apostle Paul declares, "But we all, with open face beholding as in a glass the glory of the Lord, are changed into the same image from glory to glory, even as by the Spirit of the Lord." By dwelling in the secret place, we bask in the emporia of God's radiating glory. Our hearts also get aligned with His Will and character. As we spend more time in His presence, we become transformed and elevated from one level of glory to another, ultimately reflecting His divine image in the world.

Let us therefore, recognize the sacredness and blessedness of abiding in the secret place of the Most High God. In this intimate dwelling place, we find shelter, communion, and transformation. May we continually seek to enter into this secret place, shutting out all the distractions of the world to experience the fullness of God's love, wisdom, and protection, in Jesus Name, Amen. In doing so, we will discover a life filled with abundant grace and Peace as we venture about to live purposeful lives.

THE GOOD FRUIT OF EVERY GOOD TREE

In the Holy Bible, specifically in the book of Matthew chapter 7, verse 17, it is written: "Even so every good tree bringeth forth good fruit; but a corrupt tree bringeth forth evil fruit." It is important to remember that most trees are known by the fruit they bear but as we digest this piece, let us not be quick to forget the spiritual principle that states that good actions will always yield good results, just as a good tree will yield good fruit. During the course of living our daily lives, we may have encountered situations where our actions and choices determined the outcomes we experience. This is a true reflection of this moral principle. However, the teachings of JESUS CHRIST as outlined in the Holy Bible must still serve as the guiding light for believers who seek to live righteous and fruitful lives. The fruit of a tree is a reflection of the health and vitality of the tree itself. Similarly, the choices and actions of every Christian showcases the character of g...

The Benevolence That Renews Our Minds

In a world often fraught with stress, conflict, and uncertainty, finding inner peace and contentment can feel like an elusive dream. However, the ageless wisdom from God Almighty sheds light on the transformative power of a renewed mind while revealing to us the path that leads towards benevolence and fulfilment.   The concept of a renewed mind is emphasized in Romans 12:2. It states, "And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God." This verse encourages us to network our thoughts and ensure that it is in tune with the truth neptuned in God’s Will. A renewed mind foils the sense of inner peace and harmony. It allows us to view life's challenges through a lens of faith and resilience. Philippians 4:7 beautifully captures this promise, "And the peace of God, which passeth all understanding, shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus...

ESSENTIAL NUTRIENTS FOR GREATNESS

Most things in life survive with the nutrition they get from ingesting food. Everything we take into our nervous system either acts to heal us or to destroy us. We must therefore ensure that we consider consuming those with the potentials for providing healing and reject every other. Do not think of nourishment only as what we take in through our mouths. What we consume with our eyes, our ears, our noses, our tongues, and our bodies also constitute the nutrients we feed on. Reasonable contribution and inputs that we occasionally deliver during the conversations we engage ourselves in on daily basis can only be possible by feeding on enriching and nourishing nutrients. We are not expected to neglect consistent consumption of healthy food both emotionally, physically and spiritually because they help in making us modern versions of the mind edifice that guarantees the indemnification of moral sanctity. Think about it this way. If moral sanctity blossom, the society will be filled with mo...
