As we go about our daily endeavours, there are moments when God visits with the sole purpose of searching our hearts, testing our intentions and examining our thoughts. The Psalmist acknowledges this divine scrutiny while saying, "Thou hast proved mine heart; thou hast visited me in the night; thou hast tried me, and shalt find nothing" (Psalm 17:3). This verse reminds us that our motives and desires are not hidden from God. They may be restricted from man's invasion but certainly not from the reach of the Almighty God. Now as believers on our way to Heaven, we are to live with the consciousness of presenting our thoughts to the refinement of God's word. 2 Corinthians 2:14-15 states that "Now thanks be unto God, which always causeth us to triumph in Christ, and maketh manifest the savour of his knowledge by us in every place. In the hustle and bustle of life, it is easy to accumulate burdens that weigh us down.
