LIVING VICTORIOUSLY THROUGH CHRIST

"Nay, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him that loved us" (Romans 8:37).

Life generally is littered with different species of challenges. These challenges do not possess the ability to weigh a believer down out-rightly. This is because the believer has Jesus Christ as his/her spiritual genie that enables the capability to soar above them all. The Saviour Jesus Christ, guaranteed our victory and as the truth personified he revealed before departing this world after resurrection that the Spirit of Truth will be sent to comfort us. This Spirit from God does renege in his delegated function which entails comforting us and feeding us with the Peace and Joy that is sufficiently abundant in the presence of the Most High.

As we live in the victory that Christ's resurrection brings, we are expected to continuously abide in Him and also make provision for him to abide in us. Just as John 15:4-5, assures us of fruitfulness, his word in chapter 16:33 also educates by saying “These things I have spoken unto you, that in me ye might have peace. In the world ye shall have tribulations: but be of good cheer; I have overcome the world”. To remain above the corrupting influences of this world, there is the need to abide.

How Can This Be Effectively Achieved?

Study and meditate upon the word of God regularly. Extend an arm of fellowship with someone around you by sharing the good news of God's offerings made available through Christ. Remember there is no law against saving someone from the death that sin brings. Do not allow the circumstances of life to deter you from carrying out your responsibility as a soul saved to serve your creator. You are destined for greatness. The tide may be high but we will certainly gather above the clear blue skies, where stands a city so wondrous and fair. Please, keep reaching for greater heights.

God bless you.

THE GOOD FRUIT OF EVERY GOOD TREE

In the Holy Bible, specifically in the book of Matthew chapter 7, verse 17, it is written: "Even so every good tree bringeth forth good fruit; but a corrupt tree bringeth forth evil fruit." It is important to remember that most trees are known by the fruit they bear but as we digest this piece, let us not be quick to forget the spiritual principle that states that good actions will always yield good results, just as a good tree will yield good fruit. During the course of living our daily lives, we may have encountered situations where our actions and choices determined the outcomes we experience. This is a true reflection of this moral principle. However, the teachings of JESUS CHRIST as outlined in the Holy Bible must still serve as the guiding light for believers who seek to live righteous and fruitful lives. The fruit of a tree is a reflection of the health and vitality of the tree itself. Similarly, the choices and actions of every Christian showcases the character of g...

The Benevolence That Renews Our Minds

In a world often fraught with stress, conflict, and uncertainty, finding inner peace and contentment can feel like an elusive dream. However, the ageless wisdom from God Almighty sheds light on the transformative power of a renewed mind while revealing to us the path that leads towards benevolence and fulfilment.   The concept of a renewed mind is emphasized in Romans 12:2. It states, "And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God." This verse encourages us to network our thoughts and ensure that it is in tune with the truth neptuned in God’s Will. A renewed mind foils the sense of inner peace and harmony. It allows us to view life's challenges through a lens of faith and resilience. Philippians 4:7 beautifully captures this promise, "And the peace of God, which passeth all understanding, shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus...

ESSENTIAL NUTRIENTS FOR GREATNESS

Most things in life survive with the nutrition they get from ingesting food. Everything we take into our nervous system either acts to heal us or to destroy us. We must therefore ensure that we consider consuming those with the potentials for providing healing and reject every other. Do not think of nourishment only as what we take in through our mouths. What we consume with our eyes, our ears, our noses, our tongues, and our bodies also constitute the nutrients we feed on. Reasonable contribution and inputs that we occasionally deliver during the conversations we engage ourselves in on daily basis can only be possible by feeding on enriching and nourishing nutrients. We are not expected to neglect consistent consumption of healthy food both emotionally, physically and spiritually because they help in making us modern versions of the mind edifice that guarantees the indemnification of moral sanctity. Think about it this way. If moral sanctity blossom, the society will be filled with mo...
