The term “Godly wife” may seem archaic in today’s society, where women are encouraged to pursue their dreams and aspirations outside the injunctions of God. But when it comes to Kingdom life, it is a valid norm. The idea of being a Godly wife, however marginal it may seem, goes beyond mere submissiveness. It conjugates championing the course of Christ to bring into fulfillment the purposes of godly living basically to frontier the unique difference. Instead of carrying out daily obligations casually, it is about living each moment purposefully to reveal the genuine life hidden in Christ. Living a purpose-driven life for her, is one that is in alignment with God’s plans for us. As a Godly wife, the noble character of integrity, kindness, humility, and wisdom is always dominant. No Godly woman will be recognized without possessing the desire to serve others. A Godly woman puts the needs of her family and community before her own desires. She understands that her role as a wife spans beyond just being a partner to her husband. Although she is aware of her duties which includes complimenting the abilities of her husband, she does not neglect the decorum which happen to be one of the moral portraits of a Godly wife that always comport herself in all areas of life. She is a woman who is disciplined, responsible, and organized. She manages her household efficiently, ensuring that everything runs smoothly according to God’s plan and schedule while ensuring that her family’s needs are met appropriately. She is also a woman who is committed to the lifelong process of learning and mastering the principles for executing the Will of God. She is always in search for how to improve her knowledge and skills so that she can be of greater service to God and others.

One of the most important aspects of a Godly wife’s character is her faith in the living and true God(The One that instituted and established the Messianic covenant). She is a woman who has an unwavering trust in God and relies on Him for guidance and strength. Her faith is not just a set of beliefs or rituals; it is a way of life. She lives her life in accordance with God’s teachings, always striving to be a reflection of His love and grace.

The Godly wife is also a woman of prayer. She understands the power of prayer and spends time communicating with God regularly. She prays for her family, her community, and the world around her. She believes that prayer is the foundation of a strong and healthy relationship with God and encourages her family to make prayer a priority in their lives as well.

A Godly wife is a woman who is committed to her marriage. She understands that marriage is instituted by God as a covenant between two people that have vowed to be bound by love for a lifelong period on earth and takes her vows seriously. She is a supportive partner to her husband, always encouraging him and standing by him through the ups and downs of life. She is also a woman who is willing to forgive and seeks to resolve conflicts in a peaceful and respectful manner.

In conclusion, the noble character of a Godly wife is one that is deeply rooted in unwavering faith in God, love for him, and service to him. She is a woman who rises up to live a purpose-driven life by striving to make a positive impact on the world around her. She is a role model to her family, friends, and community thereby inspiring others to live a life that is centred on God and His plans for us. A Godly wife is not just a title or a label, but a way of life that is characterized by selflessness, humility, and grace.

DO NOT DEPAIR

Having found out whom God is... DO NOT DESPAIR TEXT: PSALM 13:1-6 Key verse: “How long wilt thou forget me, O LORD? for ever? how long wilt thou hide thy face from me?” (Psalm 13:1) . Life throws up new challenges every day. This often makes the believer begin to think that God had abandoned him. Except he rouses himself up, he would become discouraged and lose all hope that help would ever come to him. David got to that point many times in his numerous battles in life. He probably prayed and fasted for long periods, but the onslaught of the enemy did not end. He was running out of options, hence he spoke in desperation to God. He seemed to conclude that He had forsaken him and wondered how long God would hide himself, and how long he was going to be abandoned to himself, getting ever more sorrowful daily. He was troubled that the enemy seemed to be triumphing over him; ...

NO SHORTCUT

If it is to be done aright, be rest assured that there is... NO SHORTCUT BELIEVERS' DIGEST PUBLICATION Bible Reading: 1 KINGS 15:16-24 Key Verse: “There is a league between me and thee, and between my father and thy father: behold, I have sent unto thee a present of silver and gold; come and break thy league with Baasha king of Israel, that he may depart from me” (1 Kings 15:19). Men always seek shortcut to success in life. Rather than live by God’s righteous standard, they seek to achieve success by any means possible. They justify their action by arguing that the end does indeed justify the means. This is despite their moral failings and character flaws, all of which contravene God’s expectations from His children. Such was the beginning of the end for King Asa, who had begun well to rule Judah and had introduced gr...

The world, in which we live today is filled with corrupting influences. This forms the basis of God's call to His people to rise as rare treasures of purity and power. A “Gem of Spectacular Influence” is not an ordinary person. It describes a believer whose life carries unique, enduring value that transcends fleeting worldly trends. Like a precious gem that retains its brilliance even in darkness, such a life reflects resolute determination to pursue excellence in glorifying God, undimmed by surrounding negativity. The story of Samuel powerfully illustrates this truth. Raised in the tabernacle at Shiloh under the aged priest Eli, Samuel was surrounded by evil practices. Eli’s sons, Hophni and Phinehas, were notorious for ...
